What this service is, what it isn't, and how we handle data.
Last updated 30 August 2026
01Nature of the service
This service is an automated informational tool. It analyses publicly available content on a shop's website together with public registers, and derives an indicative score from them.
Neither the score nor the verdict is an expert opinion, legal advice or a guarantee. Neither says anything about whether a given shop will fulfil a given order. The decision to buy remains yours.
02How the score is produced
The score is computed from a catalogue of 38 signals with fixed weights, grouped into categories: legal documents, operator identity, domain and network, content, and reputation.
A finding is never raised on the basis of a document we failed to fetch and read. Where a page cannot be assessed, the result says so explicitly as a limitation of the analysis, not as a shortcoming of the shop.
Participation in any partner or affiliate programme is not, and will never be, one of the signals.
03Limitation of liability
The operator is not liable for loss arising from action taken on the basis of an analysis. The underlying data comes from public third-party sources — among them the Czech business register (ARES), registrar RDAP records, and the Czech Trade Inspection Authority's list of risky shops — whose accuracy and availability the operator does not control.
A result describes the state of things at the moment of the scan. A shop can change its terms, its contact details and its behaviour at any time.
04Personal data
Using the scanner requires no account, and we do not collect data on who looked up which shop.
A scan result is held in a temporary cache for 7 days, keyed by the domain of the shop being checked — not by the person who submitted the query.
If you write to us through the contact form, we process your name, email address and the content of your message solely in order to reply. The message is delivered by email through the Resend service. We do not pass the data to anyone else and do not use it for marketing.
You can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time — just reply to our email.
05Cookies
We store a single cookie, and only when you switch language yourself. It is called sd_lang, holds nothing but a language code, and lasts a year. Its only job is to save you switching again on your next visit.
We store nothing else. There is no analytics, no measurement code and no advertising cookie, which is why you will not find a consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to. A language cookie set by your own click is strictly necessary for the service you asked for and is exempt from consent under the ePrivacy rules.
You can delete it in your browser at any time. The site keeps working; the language is simply decided again from the domain and the country.
If advertising is ever added here, a consent banner arrives with it and this paragraph changes before the first ad script loads.
06Third-party content and trade marks
Quotations from the websites of shops under review are reproduced only to the extent needed to evidence a specific finding.
Shop names and trade marks belong to their owners. Their appearance here implies no relationship with the operator of this service.
